The Little Prince Stage Reading in Niavaran
Niavaran Cultural Complex was the set for a one-off stage reading of The Little Prince on Tuesday, 7 August. Mehran Ahmadi, Elsa Firouz Azar, Mir Taher Mazloumi, Mahboubeh Erabi, Mojan Haseli Pajouh and Saeid Borjali were the thespians behind the charity program for CF children. A stage reading is a form of theatre without sets or full costumes. The actors, who read from scripts, may be seated, stand in fixed positions, or incorporate minimal stage movement. The Little Prince, first published in April 1943, is a novella, the most famous work of French aristocrat, writer, poet, and pioneering aviator Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.
