TEHRAN. (HONARONLINE) – Iranian director Kianoush Ayari’s controversial movie The Paternal House is facing a ban once again after modifications to the honor killing drama failed to satisfy the Tehran Public and Revolutionary Court.
Enghelab Parsian Hotel was the venue for the 1st CinemaCinema Awards. The program was presided over by Keyvan Kassirian and headed by Kianoush Ayari. A-list artists and fans attended the Sunday event. The biggest number of awards went to Rag-e Khab (Subdued) by Hamid Nematollah and No Date, No Signature by Vahid Jalilvand.
