Iran's National Orchestra had a high-profile religious music performance depicting the epic story of Ashura at Tehran’s Vahdat Hall. The program was conducted by Nader Mortezapour with singer Hesameddin Seraj at the helm. Iran's National Orchestra was founded in 1998 under the conduction of Farhad Fakhreddini. INO is focused on Persian composer's compositions.
TEHRAN.(HONARONLINE) – The Culture and Art Orchestra had the honor of performing on Thursday with 80-year-old maestro Farhad Fakhreddini, the founder and the former conductor of the National Orchestra.
Vahdat Hall hosted a Music Concert, with Farhad Fakhreddini at the helm, on Friday. Singers Vahid Taj and Mojtaba Asgari joined the Culture and Art Orchestra ensemble for the rare performance.

Deputy Culture Minister for Artistic Affairs Seyyed Mohammad Mojtaba Hosseini attended a rehearsal session of the National Instruments Orchestra in Tehran. The program is conducted by Farhad Fakhreddini.
