
Fajr hosts Turkish musician Erkan Ogur
In this year’s edition of Fajr festival, Turkish musicians Erkan Ogur and Ismail Hakki played for an audience at Vahdat Hall in Tehran. Ogur is regarded as a master of kopuz and baglama, types of lute that are used in Turkish and Iranian music. Over his 34-year musical career, Ogur, 63, has produced over ten albums, most of which feature a fusion of Turkish and Western music.
