An annual multi-platform event held in Tehran, the 36th edition of Fajr Film Festival came to a close on Sunday after presenting a rich and diverse programme of national premieres, industry masterclasses, pop-up screenings and immersive press conference and live events. Chief guests Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri, Culture Minister Seyyed Abbas Salehi, Head of Iranian Cinema Organization Mohammad Mehdi Heydarian along with a host of artisans, industry officials and fans attended the closing ceremony at the Milad Tower.
The closing ceremony of 36th Fajr Film Festival took place at Tehran’s Milad Tower on Sunday. In attendance were Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri, Culture Minister Seyyed Abbas Salehi, Head of Iranian Cinema Organization Mohammad Mehdi Heydarian along with fans and representatives from the Iranian film industry community.
TEHRAN.(HONARONLINE) – “The Lost Strait”, a drama produced by Saeid Malekan on an epic battle by Iranian combatants during the last days of the 1980-1988 Iran-Iraq war, was crowned best at the 36th Fajr Film Festival on Sunday night.
The 36th Fajr Film Festival ended on Sunday with a sold-out screening of numerous movies at Tehran’s Book Garden. The biggest day gathered lots of visitors, passing last year's attendance.
It’s the final of Fajr Film Festival in Tehran's Mellat Cinema Complex. After their screenings, press conference sessions for the movies Dirty Work and Women with Gunpowder Earrings, respectively directed by Khosro Masoumi and Reza Farahmand, were held.
Confiscation, Misunderstanding, and Darkoub (Woodpecker) were the main titles screened to the public and media representatives on the 8th day of annual Fajr Film festival at the Mellat Cinema Complex.
The 8th day of Fajr Film Fetsival saw favorite movies screened to the general public and movie buffs at Tehran’s Book Garden.
