The exhibition will be held in cooperation with the Research Institute of Cultural Heritage & Tourism, Post and Communications Museum and Iran National Post Company, ISNA wrote.
The exhibition is followed by publishing two commemorative stamps depicting their ancient bridges (Guangji Bridge in China and Khajoo Bridge in Isfahan) to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
The joint exhibition is the second cultural event on the field of stamps in the current Iranian calendar (to be ended on March 20, 2022).
The opening ceremony will be attended by ambassadors of a number of countries, ministers, and head of Iran National Post Company.
Selected as representatives of bridges in the two countries, China's Guangji Bridge is an open-and-close style bateau bridge, parts of which are connected by floating boats that can be opened to let the ships get across, while the Khajoo Bridge, located in Iran's Isfahan, features a multi-functional structure, which not only spans the Zayandehrud, but also acts as a weir and a recreational building.
