The first edition of FIAC’s online viewing rooms will open on March 4. It has secured widespread participation from French and international galleries. 208 French and international galleries, both emerging and established, specialising in contemporary art, modern art and design, from 28 countries, will participate in the online-only fair.

Exhibitors come from 28 countries across Africa, North America, South America, Asia, Europe and the Middle East – Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, The Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Iran, Ireland, Israel, Italy, The Ivory Coast, Japan, Kosovo, Mexico, The Netherlands, Peru, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tunisia, The United Kingdom, The United States will broaden the fair to a new international standard .

Galleries will show 5 or 10 works, and will be able to complete their presentation with visuals showing works from various perspectives and with videos, and can change their online display throughout the fair.

From Iran,  Dastan’s Basement Gallery is also present in this event with the display of works by 10 artists,  with a presentation of works by Reza Aramesh, Ghasemi Brothers, Bita Fayyazi, Amir Kamand, Ardeshir Mohassess, Peybak, Neda Razavipour, Neda Saeedi, Sam Samiee and Mamali Shafahi.

The FIAC, International Contemporary Art Fair, has been held every year since 1974, in the heart of the Parisian capital. Unmissable event in October, it is a privileged place to discover French and international creation.

FIAC Galeries presents a selection made up of modern art, contemporary art and design galleries among the most emblematic of the international scene: the best of artistic creation from the modern masters of the early twentieth century to the most emerging trends, notably represented by the Lafayette Sector created in 2009 to financially support the presence of young galleries.

The next edition of the FIAC will take place from October 21 to 24, 2021 at the Grand Palais Ephémère.
