The expo opens today for four days at the expo center in Iran Mall, a partially completed project in west Tehran. The mall is under construction and is billed as a monumental commercial and cultural complex. Its first phase has been launched.
At the expo, Taraneh-Baran Gallery is in Stall E232 and welcomes artists, entrepreneurs and theoreticians, Honaronline reported.
“I want to present a new definition of art tourism by tapping the great potential of Iranian art,” said the manager of the gallery Mahboubeh Kazemi.
“Most of the foreign tourists coming to Iran normally are art and cultural enthusiasts interested in cultural and artistic locations,” she said.
Art tourism is a term that is used when people travel in order to visit, explore and engage in activities related to art. It includes visits to museums and art galleries, attending art festivals, concerts and many more.
