The exhibit also features some works by the curator Rahamizadeh. In a note on the event, he said: “Sometimes, memories are richer and more colorful than actual moments. Memories come back often in static forms and one sees them against an abstract background. Recollection is a journey. To record the joy and excitement of the journey, an artist picks up a brush, contemplates and lays out colors.
In this process artists keep creating, until they see the outcome. ‘Colorful Contemplation’ is a manifestation of such memories on white paper.”
The exhibit opened July 28 and will run through August 8. Visiting hours are from 9 am-7 pm, with a midday break from 1-2 pm.
