Arash Ebrahimi, Sara Fallahi, Najla Azizi, Soroush Mahmoodi, Farzad Nazarimoghadam, Tannaz Ghodrati, and Veria Havary-Nassab are the members of the cast for the play, which will be staged from 27-29 February.
The Terrace is about a woman who decides to leave her husband, and is waiting for another man. While waiting for the man, the woman plans to rent their apartment. People come to the apartment and the story unfolds.
Asghar Noori translated the play into Persian from the original language.
“The theme of the play is the chaos and despair of modern man. We tried to bring the play's realistic atmosphere to the surreal, and convey the suspense to the audience using form, light and sound.” Mahyari stated.
Mahyari is also costume and lighting designer of the play. The other production crews include Aylin Oyan Salahshoor (assistant & production manager), Nazeli Azizi (assistant director), Mahta Molatalab (continuity supervisor), Shayeste Sarkhil (sound & light operator), and Maneli Vafadari (photographer)
Mahyari has previously directed plays such as Stools, Beyond the Words, and The Chairs in Italy, Germany, Canada, France and Poland.
