Cinema
-Five Iranian movies will be screened in the different sections of the 13th Baku International Short Film Festival.
-The Iranian movies “The Zoo” and “Where the Winds Die” have won awards at the 2nd Diyarbakir International Short Film Festival in Turkey.
-The Iranian dark comedy “World War III” has won the special jury prize at the 35th Tokyo International Film Festival.
-Directed by the Iranian filmmaker Ahmad Bahrami, "The Wastetown" won an award at the PÖFF.
-Iranian film 'World War III' won two awards at the Orizzonti (Horizons) section of the 79th Venice International Film Festival in Italy.
-The Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival has chosen Iranian film editor Hayedeh Safiyari to join the official competition jury of its 26th edition opening in the Estonian city on November 11.
-Iranian film 'Shahrbanoo' by Maryam Bahrololoomi has been nominated for the best actress and best film awards at North Hollywood International Film Festival.
-Iranian-British director Hassan Nazar’s ‘Winners’ received the Best UK Feature Award of the 30th UK Raindance Film Festival.
-The Persian-language drama “Winners” has been picked as best UK feature at the 30th Raindance Film Festival in London.
Visual Arts
-Asghar Besharti photographer has won two gold medals in the "Seir-e Darya" or "Voyage in the Sea" international photo competition in Tajikistan.
-"Born from the Fire" exhibition kicked off at the ECO Cultural Institute on November 3, 2022, in cooperation with the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Iran, and attended by diplomats residing in Tehran and the painting enthusiasts.
Theater
-The secretariat of the 41st Fajr International Theater Festival announced the call and conditions for the participation in the international section.
-The call for the 9th period of four seasons of Iranian theater titled "Theatre and Beyond" was published by the Studies and Research Office of the Performing Arts Center in Hozeh Honari.
-French writer Florian Zeller’s play “The Height of the Storm” is on stage for the first time in an Iranian theater in Tehran.
-Director Mohammad-Mehdi Khatami is staging “Sharareh” at the Sayeh Hall of the City Theater Complex based on a script he wrote in 2014.
Culture and Literature
-Iran has honored the Iranian-Armenian poet Eduard Hakhverdyan, who has translated many contemporary Persian literary works into Armenian, with the Sadi Literary Award.
-An Iraqi minister and a diplomat of the Iranian embassy to Baghdad have discussed ways to develop scientific and cultural cooperation between the two friendly countries.
-“The Cheese and the Worms: The Cosmos of a Sixteenth-Century Miller” by Italian historian Carlo Ginzburg has been published by Now.
-“The Operators: The Wild and Terrifying Inside Story of America’s War in Afghanistan” by journalist Michael Hastings has been published in Persian.
