Organized by the Rudaki Foundation, the ensemble will perform ‘Siegfried Idyll,’ composed by Richard Wagner; ‘Butterfly,’ composed by Emanuel Melik Aslanian; and ‘Symphony No. 1 in C Minor,’ composed by Felix Mendelssohn, ISNA reported.
The orchestra performed a concert, conducted by German conductor Wolfgang Wengenroth, at Tehran’s Vahdat Hall on May 5 and 6.
‘Symphony No. 2,’ composed by Johannes Brahms; ‘Two Movements for String Orchestra’ by Mohammad-Taqi Masoodyeh; ‘Ouverture the Hebrides’ by Felix Mendelssohn were performed.
