Iranian musician Saket to publish book on world’s great artists

The book contains 24 musical notes by great musicians including Mozart, Bach, Chopin, Paganini, Vivaldi, Tchaikovsky.

The works which were made by piano, violin or guitar, are rearranged for setar and dotar. The book is being revised and edited. Artists Majid Mohammadi and Salar Zamanian contributed to the book.

Saket is a composer and virtuoso on traditional instruments tar, dotar, and setar. He has written 12 books including ‘Selection of Practical Radifs in Iran’s National Music’.

He has studied the works of classical and contemporary Iranian musicians, and brought innovations in blending traditional Iranian music with Western classical music.
