According to Mehr News Agency, Arash Gooran, art director and conductor of Tehran Philharmonic Orchestra, will perform his latest piano recital at 21:30 on Thursday, December 23rd in Roudaki Hall of Tehran, after a long time being away from individual performances.
for the event, Gooran intends to perform a repertoire of pieces composed by Argentinian composer Astor Piazzolla, Georgian composer Giya Kancheli, Polish composer Miłosz Magin, and three pieces of his own for the audience.
Gooran was the chief conductor of Iranian Philharmonic Orchestra from 2006 to 2010.
In 2012, Gooran won Best Musician of the Year Award from Iran’s National Festival of Youth Music.In 2015, he received the Honorary Prize of the Black Sea International Conducting Competition in Romania.
