In ‘Limbo,’ Haftvan plays the role of a former Iraqi sniper who took refuge in Iran and began to tattoo the names of all the soldiers he had killed in the conflicts in Iraq.
During his artistic life, the late actor appeared in a number of works such as Kazem Mollaei’s ‘Kupal,’ which gained a plethora of international awards and recognition.
The Iranian-Armenian thespian died on March 10, 2018, at the age of 51, following a heart attack on the set of new cinematic production.
According to the official website of the US festival, “The Rock Horror in Rio Film Festival is more than a film screener, it’s an event that unites the best of horror, thriller, and fantasy films with rock & roll in a big party for moviegoers who love music and cinema.”
This year’s edition of the event was held online due to the coronavirus pandemic.
