Organized by the Association of Cinematographic Reporters of Spain, the award ceremony will be held in Bilbao on January 19.
The film has been nominated for the award for best dramatic film, while its stars Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz received nominations in the best actor and best actress categories.
Barbara Lennie is competing for the best supporting actress award and Eduard Fernández was nominated in the best supporting actor category.
“Everybody Knows” has also been nominated for the best movie trailer award.
The film, which was shot entirely in Spanish on the Iberian Peninsula, is about Laura, who lives with her husband and children in Buenos Aires. When they return together to her native village in Spain for a family celebration, an unexpected event changes the course of their lives.
Spanish drama “The Realm” by Rodrigo Sorogoyen leads the nominations with ten nods. The film is followed by “Quién te cantará” by Carlos Vermut with seven nominations and “Everybody Knows” with six nominations.
