The movie is about Masud, a small time thief who is charged with terrorism.
“Body Echo” from the UK and “Living Like Heta” from Switzerland are nominees in the category, the organizers have announced.
The films have been selected from among over 1000 submissions after two intensive rounds of judging.
Twenty-six films will compete in various categories at the Watersprite International Student Film Festival.
“Blue Sky, Clean Earth” has been screened at various international events. Earlier in November, it won the Outstanding Asian Student Film Award at the 17th International Student Film and Video Festival of the Beijing Film Academy in China.
