The program, titled “A Look at the Italian Neoreaism”, will be hosted at the Cinema Museum of Iran in northern Tehran from November 1st to 4th.
The program aims at introducing and reviewing films and displaying photographs related to neorealism in cinema.
Five essential Italian neorealist films will be screened during the program, such as ‘Rome, Open City’ (1945) directed by Roberto Rossellini, and four films by Vittorio De Sica, such as ‘Bicycle Thieves (1948), ‘Miracle in Milan’ (1951), ‘Umberto D.’ (1952), and ‘Shoeshine’ (1946).
In addition to the screenings, visitors will also be welcome to visit an exhibition of photographs and posters of neorealist films on display at the Cinema Museum.
