The 85-minute film, directed by Tooraj Aslani, chronicles Reza, a gold carrier, who delivers gold and jewelry from workshops to stores. One day he is robbed on his way and tries to find a way to compensate, Mehr News Agency reported.
Hossein Ahmadinia, Saeed Aqakhani, Lotfollah Seyfi and Jaleh Sameti are in the cast. The New Currents section is dedicated to competition among up-and-coming Asian film-makers’ first and second feature. Films from Sri Lanka, Japan, China, Bhutan, Nepal, Korea and Kyrgyzstan will compete. Held annually in Haeundae-gu, Busan, South Korea, the BIFF is one of the most momentous film festivals in Asia.
